Peters, Bryan. 1958. Hong Kong Kill London: T.V. Boardman and Co.

This is a thriller about a British agent, Brandon, sent  to smash a Communist drugs syndicate based in Hong Kong (trafficking heroin between China and the U.S.), with the help of an American agent. He succeeds during a night of riots. He is assisted by his Chinese/Portuguese lover Suzie, and another agent who runs The Szechuan Palace, a nightclub/restaurant with Secret Service financial backing. The Palace employs a lot of mainland recruits who bring with them useful intelligence from China. In the end, Suzie is tortured and killed by the drugs syndicate but Brandon manages to bust the ring and kills the beautiful female front-woman, Lily Wang, partly in revenge. (KB)
